We just know that we're going to be hated on and accused of heaven knows what for this post, but as our local NARpostles and their followers are already accusing us of being satanically-energised minions of the Evil One, things can hardly get worse. Here at NARWatch, we won't be sad to hear that the God-TV channel Shelanu might get axed. In fact, if it happens, a great sigh of relief that God has had mercy on us in spite of our national sin, will issue forth from our lips.
Shock horror. "But brother won't the Gospel be going out through "Shelanu"?, -how could you be against the Gospel! That's anti-semitic, you're withholding the Gospel from unsaved Israelis!", some might say. But we would say -which gospel? or, and if, the actual Gospel does by accident get preached there, what will it be mixed with? You're thirsty, so you down a nice glass of water, it looks clear, tastes good, but someone put just a tiny amount of rycin in it, and now you're toast. Satan is a master at mixing his lies in with just enough truth to get past our defences and pass himself off as an angel of light. It only takes a little leaven to leaven the whole lump. Is the government move to shut down Shelanu (or Shelahem we should rather call it; --their, the false apostle's TV channel) anti-democratic? Probably, yes. But do we really want a TV-Channel that is run by networks of known false apostles and pseudo-prophets misrepresenting the faith to the unsaved, mixing in their twisted teachings and doctrines of demons? Is that a price we are willing to pay for exercising our "democratic rights"? I hope not. Because of them the Way of Truth will be blasphemed "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed." (2 Pet. 2:1-2) If one single factor could be traced to the hardening of the American public to the Gospel, I would put it at the feet of so-called Christian TV and the televangelists and scam-merchants, who have brought the term Christianity into such shame and reproach in the living rooms of America that the faith once delivered to the saints has become a by-word, a joke and an infamy. Do we really want that for the unsaved Israelis over here, to be exposed to anything even remotely like that? Do we care enough about them to say we don't want any part in "Shelahem" TV? Ah, but Shelanu content will be produced locally they say, so it won't be like that American garbage. What on earth makes us think that the local content will be any better than the "imports"? Do we really think for one minute that those who proclaim themselves "restored apostles with the same authority as in the New Testament times", endorse the Tortonto Blessing as an outpouring of God; support the kenotic christ and encounter gospel of Todd White and Bill Johnson and collaborate with them; invite Heidi Baker and her demonic impartations into town; indulge in cover-ups for a huge amount of failed prophecies with Patricia King of Extreme prophetic; and push for unity with Rome: --are going to produce doctrinally solid, healthy biblical content that will edify the body and consistently bring a pure and true gospel to the lost? If we do then we are sorely self-deceived. There are some who have grave reservations about Tikkun/Revive's teachings, but for some bizarre reason imagine that all will be well if this channel is allowed to go on air. They think that Tikkun and Revive might be changing. We do not share this optimism. If they were changing, they wouldn't be openly consorting with blasphemous heretics like Bill Johnson, spin-doctoring false prophecies, or accusing those who point out their errors of being agents of Satan or whatever. These are not the marks of the repentant, but of the wilfully defiant, set on going their own broad way, casting off the faith once delivered to the saints and shaking their fist in God's face. As Jesus said a corrupt tree (a false prophet) will always bring forth corrupt fruit. That is its nature; so it's really about time we stopped expecting a thistle to bring forth figs, because it ain't going to happen. Instead, let's ensure that our trumpet does not give an uncertain sound, tell it like it is, and obey what the Scripture commands us to do with false teachers: -show them the door (Rom. 16:17-18). John says that those co-operate with false teachers or even endorse them in ministry become fellow-workers in their lawless deeds (2nd John v. 7-12). Do we really want to be standing that close to false teachers on that day when Jesus says "Depart from me, I never knew you workers of lawlessness"? I don't. Think of the message that you are sending by your endorsement By participating in "Shelanu", sound leaders and doctrinally solid pastors are, in effect, endorsing and affirming God(less)-TV itself and granting legitimacy to its other unsound or even heretical participants. Not only that, the undiscerning public will be given the impression that we are all one and the same thing, for they will not know who is who. We can not expect them to discern between good fruit and hypercharismaniac nuts, or between genuine shepherds and wolves and NAR deceivers. Participation in this channel will be strengthening the hands of evildoers by granting them credibility and approval; and the false apostles and their movement will (rightly) understand from this that we esteem biblical, doctrinal truth as less important than grabbing some air time. In the passage quote above the word translated secretly is παρεισάξουσιν; it refers to the laying of one thing alongside another in order to surreptitiously introduce something illegitimate. The using of a measure of truth to camouflage the introduction of false teachings. Do we really want to be those who provide the proverbial fig-leaf for the introduction of destructive heresies? Do we think that the LORD will be pleased with that?

The hardest thing about preaching is overcoming the false impressions people have on christianity. Can you imagion if lost Israelis watched Christian TV! "Donate to me and God will give you $" "A word from Jesus (X time passes, proves it's a false prophecy)" "now is this jewish holday, give $179 today while the window to heaven is open!".

This is precisely one of our concerns. I have a video btw of Sid Roth, a close ally of Tikkun and Ron Cantor et al, doing exactly the thing that you refer to. "Send in your money now before the door of opportunity for these Jewish souls to get saved closes etc and God will pour blessings on you etc" It's so sickening. When you see the Tikkun false apostles in company with other false prophets like Heidi Baker, Bill Johnson, the Arnott's and other hypercharismaniac nutters who have brought their sickening abominations into the churches, you want to weep and you pray God that He will protect the lost sheep of the house of Israel from such wolvery and charlatanry.
