There are some groups and individuals that have gone so far off the rails (if they were ever on them in the first place, which is a question in itself) that they can't even be regarded as part of the Body of Christ -period. They are so deep into the occult and New Age that they can not be regarded as remotely Christian in any shape or form. Israel has many groups like this in the NAR lunatic fringe. As time goes by and they become ever more removed from Scripture their behaviour follows suit. Someone posted me a prime example of this today.
A high-profile NAR group in Jerusalem is suing for slander the family of one of their former congregants who committed suicide for 150,000 NIS. I know who this sickening cult group are, their US apostolic leader is a very high profile false prophet who is on the outer-fringes of lunacy even within the NAR, and their implant in Israel is no better.
They claim to be prophetic and apostolic, but how unlike the behavior of the apostles theirs is!
"To the present hour we are hungry and thirsty, poorly clothed, brutally treated, and without a roof over our heads. We do hard work, toiling with our own hands. When we are verbally abused, we respond with a blessing, when persecuted, we endure, when people lie about us, we answer in a friendly manner. We are the world's dirt and scum, even now." (1Cor.4:13)
Those "ministries" who do this kind of "lawfare" thing are always those who have zero regard for Scripture and whose false doctrines and unethical behaviour "make the way of truth to be evil spoken of". Why? -because in the end, for them the bottom line is their bottom line. With false teachers it's all about the Benjamins, bad publicity means a drop in revenues, so naysayers must be silenced, and suing them into silence is one way to do it.
The family of the deceased have started a Go-Fund Me campaign to cover their legal costs. If you wish to help a little you can find it here.
