"Hogwarts" Comes To Israel: Heidi Baker and IRIS Global Behind Israel Supernatural Ministry School2/11/2019 IRIS Global and Heidi Baker now have a branch here in Israel "Iris Israel is a non-profit organisation based in Jerusalem, led by international and local leaders. We believe that God has called many of you to partner with us Messianic believers in the land, to fulfill His promises for Israel and the nations, and want to invite you to dream BIG with God! There is no limit to what He can do! " The IRIS Global Israel branch is run by Sri and Or who also operate something called the Israel Movement and run the Supernatural School of Israel, "The Supernatural School of Israel is a 28-day program. This School is an Iris-affiliated school here in Israel, equipping leaders and releasing them into the supernatural. Learn to walk in the supernatural in the land where Jesus walked on water, healed blind eyes and raised the dead!"
This is very much the kind of thing that BSSM (Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry) does. “Combining times of worship, on-site training, prayer, soaking, outreach and practical experience in the heart of Jerusalem and throughout Israel.” “Receive teaching, inspiration, and training from some of the best speakers locally and internationally!” This alone should be worrying knowing to whom IRIS is connected locally and what Heidi's anointing does to people. “God has given them downloads and strategies for helping Israel and Jewish people. He showed them [Sri and Or] in a dream that Jewish people seek signs and wonders. Ever since, they've wanted to start programs that are focused on deeper intimacy with the Lord, teaching students how to walk in signs and wonders and Holy Spirit fire! They strongly believe that God will soften the hearts of Israelis to see their eternal purpose through supernatural encounters!” “Experience an environment where Holy Spirit comes crashing down and people see amazing signs and wonders. (Best of all, the miracles keep multiplying as students graduate and carry God's glory, presence and revival fire with them!)” Are Signs and Wonders Any Guarantee That People Will Believe? It doesn't seem so from the Scriptures: A craving after signs and wonders is actually an indication of spiritual adultery "Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." (Mt. 12:38-40) The Israelites saw God's miraculous works for forty years in the desert; -apart miracles such as the red sea parting and God's glory pillar accompanying them, they also on a daily basis received the manna and their clothes did not wear out, -yet they believed not. (Heb. 3:7-19) "And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness! And wherefore hath the Lord brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt? And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt. Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel. And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes: And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land. If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not. But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the Lord appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel. And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?" (Num. 14:2-11) Even when they experienced genuine miracles, the Israelites did not believe; so why should we expect a genuine faith response to the fake stuff and counterfeit revivalism of Heidi Baker's IRIS Global? Worth thinking about.
