Many people worldwide are greatly concerned, nay horrified, at the spread of the New Apostolic Reformation through the churches. Also here too there are a growing number of individuals who are waking up to the problem and beginning to question, and this is good. However our local false apostles are aware of a rising level of concern about their doctrines and activities, and have been attempting to deflect investigation and critique.
One way they have tried to do this is to present themselves as victims of persecution and harassment over a mere "difference of opinion", and by portraying those who voice their alarm as agents of Satan engaging in a campaign of lies (https://tribe.reviveisrael.org/scattering-the-sheep/). If this matter were indeed something trivial, then, believe me, we would not be bothering to make an issue of it. Really, we have got better things to do than offer people opportunities to call us possessed or demonically energised. The fact is, that we have spent a lot of time reading the material that Revive/Tikkun and those they associate and work with put out. We had to familiarise ourselves with the teachings, history and direction of this movement to which our false apostles belong. Sadly, this matter is not something trivial that can be overlooked, but the New Apostolic Reformation movement and its teachings represent a clear and present threat to the very foundations of the faith itself. Just as Paul recognised the circumcision issue at Galatia so undermined the doctrine of salvation by grace alone through faith alone that it constituted a different gospel altogether. Even so the New Apostolic Reformation and its teachings represent a threat of equal magnitude that strikes against the central doctrines of the faith in such a way, that a completely different religion to biblical Christianity is the end result, and we hope to demonstrate that in this series of posts. |
