For years the NAR in Israel had been unchallenged and quietly sapping away at the very foundations of the faith, but in recent years, as their burrowing and undermining has become increasingly exposed, the level of national concern and controversy has been growing. The crisis engendered by their teachings in the Body here, has become internationally recognised and is making it into discernment blogs across the globe. It has now come to the attention of well-known NAR researcher Holly Pivec. author of two excellent books on the NAR cult. Holly has not written about the Israeli NAR before, so this is a significant uptick in reportage on the NAR here. We hope that this will mark the beginning of an international discernment focus on the NAR situation here, because what happens in Israel has deep significance for the rest of the Body worldwide. Interview With Doug Givett, Co-Author Of "A New Apostolic Reformation?" And "Encountering God's Super Apostles"
Doug Givett is co-author with Holly Pivec of two excellent and informative books on the NAR, both of which we would highly recommend. If you are unfamiliar with NAR teachings and senior figures in the larger NARiverse, their books are an excellent primer.
Great shame that they are not available in Hebrew!
By Esther Schreiber, a former member of the NAR and a guest contributor.
The majority of believers within the body of Christ have one thing in common: they have never heard of the NAR! Considering that one of its most senior leaders (Peter Wagner) claimed it was the fastest growing sector within Christendom, this is indeed strange. However, in an age where human knowledge is growing exponentially and new things are being discovered every day, our ignorance or lack of awareness of something one day, is no proof of its non-existence; only that we have not yet discovered it, perceived what is under our very noses, or recognised something for what it is.

Here's some of our local Israeli NAR Leaders Avi Mizrachi and Apostle Asher Intrater at the recent MEHR 2020 "Colours of Hope" Conference which took place in Germany 03-06 January.
But what of the other participants at this conference? Who else was there?

In June 2019 Michael Nissim, the leader of a messianic congregation in northern Israel, put out a video documenting some of the disturbing connections between the Tikkun/Revive Israel NARpostlolic networks and some very, very dodgy ministries. He was attacked on line by a woman called Donna Diorio who publishes a prayer bulletin called "Arrows from Zion". Diorio claimed that Michael is a slanderer, and that there is actually no connection at all between Tikkun and those whom she called the "flakiest of the flakes". This series examines the truth of her claims by exposing even further Tikkun's connections to the NAR and hypercharismania.
In part one of this series we looked briefly at the authority that Israeli NARpostles are claiming for themselves.
Before we move on to real world examples of how our local NARpostles are at the epicentre of a full-on war against the faith once delivered to the saints, we need to lay just a little more groundwork.
Be wary of bogus faith statements "Website Orthodoxy" and theological camouflage
The faith statement of a church or ministry used to be a good indicator of where it stood doctrinally and a useful aid when searching for a solid church. Nowadays such things do not always correspond to realities on the ground. Instead of being a well-thought out document that sets forth in brief form the doctrine of that church or ministry, to save time many are now simply "boilerplate" faith statements cut and pasted from somewhere else, and which may not accurately represent the real theological convictions of that church or ministry, and within the NAR this seems to be particularly so.
IRIS Global and Heidi Baker now have a branch here in Israel
"Iris Israel is a non-profit organisation based in Jerusalem, led by international and local leaders. We believe that God has called many of you to partner with us Messianic believers in the land, to fulfill His promises for Israel and the nations, and want to invite you to dream BIG with God! There is no limit to what He can do! "
The IRIS Global Israel branch is run by Sri and Or who also operate something called the Israel Movement and run the Supernatural School of Israel,
Morris Cerullo is one of the older generation of fake faith healers and prosperity preachers of the same ilk as Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland and Oral Roberts. He's also a heretic and a blasphemer as you will see from his teachings.
